[SetupHomenet] (Winbom)

[SetupHomenet]

The [SetupHomenet] section contains an entry for setting up the firewall on a computer with a preconfigured Internet connection.

EnableFirewall

Specifies whether to install the Internet Connection Firewall (ICF) feature.

Syntax

                EnableFirewall = Yes | No

 

Value Description

Yes

Enables an ICF on all local area network (LAN), virtual private network (VPN), and dial-up connections.

No

Disables ICF on all connections.

Example
[SetupHomenet]
EnableFirewall = Yes
Comments

If this entry is not present, the existing setting remains unchanged.

The following network connections do not require a firewall:

  • The private network connection of an Internet Connection Sharing
