You can use the Distributed File System (DFS) Management snap-in to manage DFS Namespaces and DFS Replication. When used together, these two technologies offer simplified, fault-tolerant access to files, load sharing, and WAN-friendly replication.
To install the DFS Management snap-in, see Installing the DFS Management Snap-in and DFS Replication Service.
For help with specific tasks, see Creating and Managing Namespaces and Configuring and Managing DFS Replication.
For information about property pages in the DFS Management snap-in, see Namespace Properties and DFS Replication Properties.
For more information about the DFS solution in the Microsoft® Windows Server™ 2003 R2 operating systems, see the Microsoft Web site (https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=39468).
