Find a matching specific filter

1. Create a console containing IP Security Monitor. Or, open a saved console file containing IP Security Monitor.
   
   
2. For a specific main mode filter:
   
   
   1. Double-click Main Mode.(console tree location is: IP Security Monitor/ServerName/Main Mode).
      
      
   2. In the console tree, right-click Specific Filters, and then click Find matching filters.
      
      
   3. In the Find Matching Main Mode Filters dialog box, configure the filter settings, and then click Search.
      
      
3. For a specific quick mode filter:
   
   
   1. Double-click Quick Mode (console tree location is: IP Security Monitor/ServerName/Quick Mode).
      
      
   2. In the console tree, right-click Specific Filters, and then click Find matching filters.
      
      
   3. In the Find Matching Quick Mode Filters dialog box, configure the filter settings, and then click Search.
      
      

Notes

• To perform this procedure, you must be a member of the Administrators group on the local computer, or you must have been delegated the appropriate authority. If the computer is joined to a domain, members of the Domain Admins group might be able to perform this procedure. As a security best practice, consider using Run as to perform this procedure.
