Service packs and updates

TAPI 2.2 supports the PSTN client-server telephony functionality provided with Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 4. TAPI 3.0 and TAPI 3.1 support both PSTN telephony and media stream IP telephony and are compatible with products supported by previous versions of TAPI.

The following table shows the version of TAPI included with each Windows operating system. (Recent releases, service packs, or updates might not appear on this table.)
