To add the Wireless Monitor snap-in

  1. Click Start, click Run, type MMC, and then click OK.

  2. Click File, click Add/Remove Snap-in, and then click Add.

  3. In the Add Standalone Snap-in dialog box, click Wireless Monitor, and then click Add.

  4. Click Close, and then click OK.

Notes

  • Performing this task does not require you to have administrative credentials. Therefore, as a security best practice, consider performing this task as a user without administrative credentials.

  • To save the console settings, on the File menu, click Save.

  • To open a saved console file, open MMC. For more information, see Related Topics.
