Make sure that the disk has a signature.

Make sure that the disk is configured as basic and not dynamic.

Make sure that all partitions on the disk are formatted using the NTFS file system.

Make sure that all partitions have a drive letter assigned or is set up as a mounted drive.

Important

  • If you use drive letters, assign drive labels that match the drive letters and make sure that you assign the same drive letter to each node in the cluster.
