<Application_Name_for_Update> - Application Properties

The Application Properties tab of the <Application_Name_for_Update> dialog box enables you to view the following information for each for each of your installed application property files, that have known issues related to the Windows® update:

File properties. Includes the file name, related product, vendor, version number, a brief description of the file, the version language, and so on.

MSI. Includes the related product, vendor, version number, language, and the product and the package IDs.

Add/Remove Programs. Includes the display name of the application, the vendor, registry path, and the uninstall string.

Shell. Includes the shell and parent name details.

Registry. Includes the registry name, path, file, and registry run information.

Service Control Manager. Includes the display name, name, and path information.
To access the Application Properties tab of the <Application_Name_for_Update> dialog box

Click Analyze from the Quick Reports pane.

Click Applications from the Update Impact Reports heading in the Quick Reports pane.
The Update Impact Report - Applications screen appears.

Double-click the application for which you want to see the associated details.
The <Application_Name_for_Update> dialog box appears, with the Intersecting Updates tab showing.

Click the Application Properties tab.
Using the Application Properties Tab
On the Application Properties tab of the <Application_Name_for_Update> dialog box, you can perform the following actions:

Review the detailed application properties information.

Categorize the application. For more information, see Categorizing Your Data.

Prioritize the application. For more information, see Prioritizing Your Data.
