This chapter describes the operational guidelines for maintaining a secure and optimal Microsoft® Operations Manager 2000 (MOM) database. Also referred to as the OnePoint database, the MOM database is the central storage facility for events, alerts, performance data, rules, and scripts within a configuration group.
