In addition to the installation directory, there is a Web Part resources directory that contains files used to support custom Web Parts in . The c:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\wpresources directory contains a web.config file that is used to help control security for ASP.NET files used in Web Parts.
