About uninstalling
You can remove SharePoint Team Services from a virtual server either temporarily or permanently by using the Full Uninstall options. To temporarily remove SharePoint Team Services so you can clean or restore your site, select No. To permanently remove SharePoint Team Services, select Yes. Performing a full uninstall removes any files and folders that SharePoint Team Services uses to track data about your Web site. Performing a full uninstall may cause some features of your site to not work if you later decide to reinstall.
On the Server Administration page, next to the virtual server you want to uninstall SharePoint Team Services from, click Administration.
Click Uninstall Microsoft SharePoint.
To perform a simple uninstall, on the Uninstall Microsoft SharePointpage, next to Full Uninstall, select No.
To perform a full uninstall, on the Uninstall Microsoft SharePointpage, next to Full Uninstall, select Yes.
Click Uninstall.
If you want to reinstall SharePoint Team Services later, on the Server Administration page, click Extend next to the name of the virtual server.
