Specify translatable columns for variations

Use this procedure to specify translatable columns for variations. This allows you to select which columns need to be translated for variations.

To specify translatable columns for variations

  1. Starting at the top-level site of a site collection, on the Site Actions menu, point to Site Settings, and then click Modify All Site Settings.

    Note

    If you do not see additional items when you point to Site Settings, click Site Settings.

  2. On the Site Settings page, under Site Collection Administration, click Translatable columns.

  3. Check the Column Name boxes for the items you want to set as translatable.

  4. Click OK.
