Code 33: Windows cannot determine which resources are required for this device

Device Manager displays the following message in the Device Properties dialog box, on the General tab, in the Device Status text box:

Windows cannot determine which resources are required for this device. (Code 33)

Diagnosis

The translator that determines the types of resources required by the device has failed.

Resolution

Contact the hardware vendor, and then configure or replace hardware.
