ADMX Schema

In Windows Vista, the Local Group Policy Object Editor and Group Policy Management Console display registry-based policy settings using ADMX files. An ADMX file is an XML-based file, defined as a set of one language neutral file (.admx) and associated ADMX language-dependent files (.adml).

The ADMX schema defines the syntax for the ADMX files. The ADMX schema can be downloaded from the Microsoft Download Center (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=86094).
