Set Accounting Scope

Membership in the local Administrators group, or equivalent, is required to complete this procedure.

To set the accounting scope

  1. Open Windows System Resource Manager.

  2. In the navigation tree, right-click Accounting, and then click Filter View.

  3. In Configure Accounting View Filter, click Scope Filter.

  4. Select Start Date, and then select a beginning date for your accounting data.

  5. Select End Date, and then select an ending date for your accounting data. If you do not select End Date, all data from the start date until the current time will be displayed.

  6. Click OK.

Additional considerations

  • To open Windows System Resource Manager, click Start, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Windows System Resource Manager. In the Connect to Computer dialog box, select This computer, and then click Connect. Microsoft Management Console will start with the Windows System Resource Manager (Local) snap-in open.

  • In Configure Accounting View Filter, you can click Save View to save the current accounting view configuration for later use. Then, you can use Load View to load a previously saved configuration, or Reset View to reset the configuration to the default.
