To set print server properties

To set print server properties

  1. Open Printers and Faxes.

  2. On the File menu, click Server Properties.

  3. Click each tab to see the available choices, and set options as required, such as creating a new form, adding and configuring ports, adding and updating printer drivers, and setting spooler options.

Notes

  • To open Printers and Faxes, click Start, and then click Printers and Faxes.

  • This feature is not included on computers running the Microsoft® Windows Server® 2003, Web Edition, operating system. For more information, see Overview of Windows Server 2003, Web Edition.

  • Setting and changing the print server properties affects all printers on the print server.
