After you complete your server installation, use Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel to install the File Server Resource Manager component.
To install File Server Resource Manager, you must be logged on with an account that has administrative rights on the local computer.
Note
You may need to restart your server after the installation of File Server Resource Manager has completed.
To install File Server Resource Manager
Open Control Panel.
In Add or Remove Programs, click Add/Remove Windows Components.
In the Windows Components Wizard dialog box, select the Management and Monitoring Tools check box, and then click Details.
Click Next, and then click Finish.
