Print Spooler Service

Each print server has a single print spooler service, which manages all the print jobs and print queues on that server.

Name Description

Print Router Status

Print Router Status relates to the print router function of the print subsystem. The print router determines which print provider to call based on information supplied with the print job.

Print Spooler Status

Print Server Status controls basic operations such as initializing the spooler, creating threads, and reading the registry.

Printer Connections Status

Printer Connections relates to printer connections deployed to users or computers using Group Policy.
