Description

The TAPI Permanent Line ID subkey stores data about a specific fax device that was registered with the Fax Service but is currently removed from the system. If this device is later restored to the system, the Fax Service automatically uses the configuration stored in this subkey.

Note

  • The TAPI Permanent Line ID subkey is a placeholder in the Devices Cache subkey. It represents the subkeys, which have unique names that identify specific devices. "TAPI Permanent Line ID" does not actually appear in the registry.
