Represents a service for Windows Server 2003.

Entries and subkeys common to Services subkeys appear in the service-name subkey. Entries and subkeys that are specific to a service are described in the subkey bearing the service name.

  • The service-name subkey is a variable representing the subkeys in the HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services subkey. It does not actually appear in the registry. This variable subkey displays the entries and subkeys that are common to many of the Services subkeys. The actual Services subkeys in the registry depend on the services installed on the computer or available to the system.
