Notes

  • To open Active Directory Users and Computers, click Start, point to All Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Active Directory Users and Computers.

  • In most cases, Message Queuing automatically determines the sites in which servers reside. This procedure is needed to remove sites manually from the list of sites where a server resides. The applicable servers are Message Queuing servers with routing enabled, which are also called routing servers. Any routing server that resides in a specific site can be configured as an in-routing or out-routing server for computers that reside in that site. Such routing servers can be also configured as site gates in routing links to that site. A routing server can reside in multiple sites, and it can be configured as an in-routing server, an out-routing server, or a site gate, independently in each site in which it resides.

Information about functional differences

  • Your server might function differently based on the version and edition of the operating system that is installed, your account permissions, and your menu settings. For more information, see Viewing Help on the Web.
