Securing Windows Firewall

Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1, Windows Server 2003 with SP2

Windows Firewall can be configured only by users who are members of the Administrators group or members of a group that is a member of the Administrators group. You can configure Windows Firewall so that local administrators are prevented from enabling or disabling Windows Firewall or configuring Windows Firewall settings. This is useful if you have a centrally managed environment and you want to strictly enforce your Windows Firewall configuration throughout your organization.
