FTP Site Authentication in IIS 6.0
Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1
You can configure an FTP server to allow anonymous access to FTP resources or to require Basic authentication in the form of a user name and password corresponding to a valid Windows user account.
Note
Digest and Integrated Windows authentication cannot be used with FTP sites. Available authentication settings must be set at the site level for FTP sites.
