Description
Hides the file scan progress window. This window provides status information that might be helpful to advanced users, but it might confuse novices.

Notes
This entry can be superseded by a Group Policy setting included in Windows Server 2003. While the policy setting Hide the file scan progress window is enabled (which corresponds to registry entry Windows File Protection\SfcShowProgress), the system ignores this entry. If the scan progress window does not appear, check to see whether a policy setting is in effect.
Windows File Protection only scans when the current user is an administrator of the computer.
