View external transactions

Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1, Windows Server 2003 with SP2

To view external transactions

  1. Open Component Services.

  2. In the console tree, double-click Component Services, double-click Computers, double-click My Computer, and then double-click Distributed Transaction Coordinator.

  3. To view the status of external transactions, double-click Transaction List.

  4. To view the statistics of external transactions, double-click Transaction Statistics.

Notes

  • To open the Component Services snap-in, click Start, point to All Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Component Services.

  • The Microsoft Distributed Transaction Coordinator (DTC) must be running to implement external transactions.
