Documenting the Migration Plan for Windows NT 4.0 Resource Domains

After you identify all existing Windows NT 4.0 resource domains and determine how you will migrate the domains to OUs in Active Directory regional domains in the forest, it is important to document this information.

Example: Documenting the Migration Plan for Windows NT 4.0 Resource Domains

Contoso Corporation needs to migrate their Windows NT 4.0 resource domains to OUs in their Active Directory regional domains. After they identified the source and target locations, they documented the target OU for each resource domain that is to be restructured. Figure 2.27 shows the Windows NT 4.0 resource domain migration plan documentation that the Contoso Corporation design team created.
