Battery Status Object

Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1, Windows Server 2003 with SP2

The Battery Status performance object reports the battery status on laptops and on other computers that use batteries, based on Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI). Battery Status is only displayed in Performance Console when batteries are available in your computer and the WMI Driver is installed.

 

Counter Name Description Counter Type

Charge Rate

Shows the rate of battery charge in milliwatts (mW). If the battery is not charging, or is discharging, then this value will be 0.

WMI-Based Driver

Discharge Rate

Shows the rate of battery discharge in milliwatts (mW). If the battery is not discharging, or is charging, then this value will be 0.

WMI-Based Driver

Remaining Battery Capacity

Shows the amount of charge remaining in the battery in milliwatts per hour (mWh).

WMI-Based Driver

Battery Tag

Shows the number of times that the battery has been changed.

WMI-Based Driver

Voltage

Shows the voltage of the battery in milliwatts (mW).
