Configure replication availability on a site link

To configure replication availability on a site link

Open ADAM ADSI Edit.

Connect and bind to the configuration directory partition of an ADAM instance belonging to the site link for which you want to configure replication availability.

In the console tree, click the configuration directory partition, double-click the sites container (CN=Sites), double-click the Inter-site Transports container (CN=Inter-site Transports), and then click the IP container (CN=IP).

In the details pane, right-click the site link object (by default, CN=DEFAULTIPSITELINK) for which you want to schedule availability, and then click Schedule.

In the Schedule dialog box, select the block of time that you want to schedule, and then click Replication Not Available or Replication Available.

When you are finished updating the schedule, click OK.

To open the ADAM ADSI Edit snap-in, click Start, point to All Programs, point to ADAM, and then click ADAM ADSI Edit.

By default, replication is always available on a given site link.

By default, all sites belong to the default site link object (CN=DEFAULTIPSITELINK).
