Description

The Providers subkey stores configuration data for Routing and Remote Access authentication providers, such as Windows and Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service (RADIUS).

This subkey contains entries that apply to all dial-up accounting providers. It also contains subkeys that represent each provider, which are named by the globally unique identifier (GUID) of the provider and which store entries that apply only to that provider.

Windows Server 2003 includes the following accounting providers:

  • {1AA7F840-C7F5-11D0-A376-00C04FC9DA04} represents the RADIUS accounting provider.

  • {1AA7F846-C7F5-11D0-A376-00C04FC9DA04} represents the Windows accounting provider.
