To stop requesting LCP extensions in PPP

  1. Disconnect from the remote server.

  2. Open Network Connections.

  3. Right-click the dial-up connection you want to configure, and then click Properties.

  4. On the Networking tab, click Settings.

  5. In the PPP Settings box, clear the Enable LCP extensions check box.

  • To open Network Connections, click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Network Connections.
