View main mode details

Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1, Windows Server 2003 with SP2

To view main mode details

  1. Create a console containing IP Security Monitor. Or, open a saved console file containing IP Security Monitor.

  2. Double-click Main Mode.

    Where?

    • IP Security Monitor/ServerName/Main Mode

  3. To view main mode details, do one of the following:

    • For generic filter details, in the console tree, click Generic Filters, and then in the details pane, double-click a filter.

    • For specific filter details, in the console tree, click Specific Filters. To find a specific main mode filter, right-click Specific Filters, and then click Find matching filters.

    • For IKE policy details, in the console tree, click IKE Policies, and then in the details pane, double-click a policy.

    • For statistical details, in the console tree, click Statistics.

    • For security association details, in the console tree, click Security Associations, and then in the details pane, double-click a security association.

Notes

  • To perform this procedure, you must be a member of the Administrators group on the local computer, or you must have been delegated the appropriate authority. If the computer is joined to a domain, members of the Domain Admins group might be able to perform this procedure.
