Disk Management

You use Disk Management in Windows XP Professional and Windows Server 2003 operating systems to perform disk-related tasks, such as creating and formatting partitions and volumes, and assigning drive letters. On computers running Windows Server 2003 operating systems, you can also use Disk Management to perform advanced tasks, such as creating and repairing fault tolerant volumes. In addition, you can use the DiskPart command, along with other command-line utilities, to perform Disk Management tasks. For information about Disk Management-related command-line utilities, see Managing disks and volumes from the command line.

Hidden recovery partition...
I am having almost the same problem. I accidentally hide my recovery partition while messing around with GRUB. During the process of fixing back my boot loader, win7 created another partition and place a bunch of dell utilities in there. I tried unhidden the recovery partition with grub, it wouldn't do it. I tried changing the GPT ATTRIBUTE with no result. Any suggestions would be appreciated.$0 $0

Spanned Dynamic drive disappears after reboot in Vista Ultimate
I just installed six new hard drives to maintain my data on my hard drives. Then reinstalled Vista Ultimate because I got tired of the one hour boot time. I thought that maybe after all the updates where done the problem would be fixed. It is not. I can span the other five drives and vista says it is healthy. I reboot and the drives are off-line and will not reactivate. So I have to convert to basic and respan making them dynamic drives. The computer does a format and says all is healthy. Then I reboot and they are gone again. Any one have any Ideas why this is happening?
I have ran chkdsk and all is healthy until I reboot and they are all off-line again refusing to reactivate.

How Do I Delete An Old Partition
I just created a new partition and installed Win 7 on it and I like it. Is there a way I can delete the old partition that has Vista on it? When I made the new partition I only used about 40GB of hard drive space, just enough to test out Win 7 and a few programs. After testing Win 7 I've found out that I really like it and would like to just get rid of the older Vista partition and use the Win 7 with all the hard drive space that is available on my PC. I would really appreciate any help with this issue. Thanks in advance.

Hard Drive Help

One of my hard drives has gone missing. It was working fine until I tried installing an aditional one.

Now I can only find it in the Disk Management application and it appears to be unallocated. How can I get it to be recognized again without loosing all my files?
