Managing FTP Sites Using Scripts

Updated: August 22, 2005

Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1

You can use the command-line script iisftp.vbs, which is stored in systemroot\System32, to create and manage File Transfer Protocol (FTP) sites on computers running a member of the Microsoft Windows Server™ 2003 family with Internet Information Services (IIS) 6.0.

Iisftp.vbs performs some of the same operations that are available in IIS Manager. You can use either tool to administer IIS FTP sites.
