WMI Objects Object

Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1, Windows Server 2003 with SP2

The WMI Objects performance object consists of counters that describe the activity of Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) objects. WMI has a reverse adapter that makes WMI performance data visible in System Monitor. WMI performance data only appears when the reverse adapter for WMI is installed.

 

Counter Name Description Counter Type

HiPerfClasses

Shows the number of whole classes that the reverse adapter obtained from WMI.

PERF_COUNTER_LARGE_RAWCOUNT

HiPerfValidity

Shows the validity of shared memory held in the performance structure. A value of 1 indicates that data is valid and a value of 0 indicates that data is invalid.
