HistoryMajorVersionNumber Metabase Property

Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 with SP1

The HistoryMajorVersionNumber is used internally only by IIS to keep track of the major version number of the MetaBase.xml and MBSchema.xml files. The major version number is also used to version and name history files.

ImportantImportant
Because this property is internally configured by IIS, you should consider it to be read-only. Do not configure this property.
