SmtpDomainValidationFlags Metabase Property

Updated: August 22, 2005

Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 with SP1

Setting the SmtpDomainValidationFlags property key to a nonzero value causes the domain passed to the EHLO command to be checked to determine if it is well formatted.

The metabase represents unlimited as the DWORD value of 4294967295 (0xFFFFFFFF); however, VBScript represents unlimited in hexadecimal format as &HFFFFFFFF. Previous versions of IIS represented unlimited as -1.
