Description
Specifies whether or not the pages of outgoing fax transmissions have a banner. The banner includes the date and time of transmission, the transmitting subscriber identification (TSID), the current page number, and the telephone number of the recipient's fax device. The banner is prepended to all pages of outgoing fax transmissions.

Change Method
To change the value of this entry, click on the Start menu, point to Settings, and then select Printers and Faxes. Right-click the name of the fax device, and then select Properties. Click the Devices tab, and then click Properties under the name of the fax-capable hardware (usually a modem). In the new window that opens (its title is the same as the name of the fax-capable hardware), select or clear the Include banner check box.
This entry can also be changed by using the Fax application programming interface (API).
Activation Method
Changes made to this entry though Printers and Faxes or through the Fax API are effective immediately.
