Description

Specifies whether the system restarts automatically after it fails or locks.

This entry stores the setting of the Automatically reboot check box in System in Control Panel.

 

Value Meaning

0

Do not restart automatically.

1

Restart automatically.

Change Method

To change the value of this entry, use the System in Control Panel. Click the Advanced tab, then click the Startup and Recovery button. When the Automatically reboot box is selected, the value of this entry is 1.

Activation Method

To make changes to this value effective, you must restart Windows Server 2003.

  • To change the value of this entry, you must be an administrator of the computer.
