Managing Certificate Services from a command prompt

There are two utilities you can use to manage certificates at a command prompt:

  • Certutil is a useful tool for administrators who are managing CAs and troubleshooting certificate-related issues.

  • Certreq requests certificates from a certification authority (CA).
