The time-service provider should not be started.

The time-service provider should be started.

Activation Method

To make changes to this entry effective, at the command line, type:

w32tm /config /update

Note

  • If you do not want this computer to respond to NTP requests, you can set the value of this entry to 0. This prevents the time-service provider from running and, therefore, from responding to requests.
