Add a site object to a site link object

Applies To: Windows Server 2003 R2

  1. Open ADAM ADSI Edit.

  2. Connect and bind to the configuration directory partition of an ADAM instance in the configuration set in which the site and the site link reside.

  3. In the console tree, double-click the configuration directory partition, double-click the sites container (CN=Sites), and then double-click the Inter-Site Transports container (CN=Inter-Site Transports).

  4. In the console tree, click the IP container (CN=IP).

  5. In the details pane, right-click the site link to which you want to add a site, and then click Properties.

  6. In Attributes, click SiteList, and then click Edit.

  7. In Value to add, type the distinguished name of the site that you want to add to the site link, click Add, and then click OK.

  • To open the ADAM ADSI Edit snap-in, click Start, point to All Programs, point to ADAM, and then click ADAM ADSI Edit.
