Confirm that you are a member of the Administrators group.

Default local groups;

Edit local security settings

Install Network Monitor tools.

Install Network Monitor

(Optional) If you want to make sure your captures do not exceed available memory on your computer, then modify your buffer settings.

Modify capture buffer settings

(Optional) If you want to exclude traffic from a certain network address from being captured, then create a capture filter.

(Optional) If you want to trigger a capture when a specific string appears in a frame, then create a capture trigger.
