Create a new logon message for Macintosh clients

To create a new logon message for Macintosh clients

  1. Open Computer Management.

  2. In the console tree, right-click Shared Folders.

    Where?

    • Computer Management/System Tools/Shared Folders
  3. Click Configure File Server for Macintosh.

  4. On the Configuration tab, in Logon message, type the message you want Macintosh users to see when they log on to the computer running Services for Macintosh.

Note

  • To open Computer Management, click Start, click Control Panel, double-click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Computer Management.
