Description

Specifies the OEM-dependent keyboard subtype. You can add this entry to the registry to correct an error in the keyboard subtype detected at startup.

This entry does not exist in the registry by default. You can add it by using the registry editor Regedit.exe.

Note

  • Unlike some entries in this subkey, this entry remains in the Parameters subkey and is read from this location even after a keyboard is installed.
