Scheduling POP3 mail retrieval

Use the Scheduling page of the Windows SBS POP3 Connector properties to specify how often you want the server to retrieve messages from POP3 mailboxes.

  • To retrieve POP3 messages at a specified interval, click the arrows to define the interval in hours and minutes. The minimum time interval that you can set for message retrieval is five minutes.

  • To retrieve POP3 messages immediately, click Retrieve now. This will not change the regularly scheduled POP3 message retrieval times. You might find this feature helpful if message retrieval does not appear to be working as expected or if you have scheduled an extended period of time between retrievals.
