Remove an AD LDS Instance

You can use this procedure to remove an Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services (AD LDS) instance.

Membership in the local Administrators group, or equivalent, is the minimum required to complete this procedure. Review details about using the appropriate accounts and group memberships at Local and Domain Default Groups (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=83477).

  1. To open Programs and Features, click Start, click Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click Programs and Features.

  2. Locate and click the AD LDS instance that you want to remove.

  3. Click Uninstall.

noteNote
It is not necessary to restart the computer after you remove an AD LDS instance.
