Set Up Edge Servers (2007 R2 Beta)

After setting up the infrastructure for Edge Servers, use the procedures in this section to set up Edge Servers:

• If appropriate, Deploy Load Balancers
• Install Edge Servers
• Activate Edge Servers
• Configure Edge Servers
• Set Up Certificates for the Internal Interface
• Set Up Certificates for the External Interface
• Set Up Certificates for A/V Authentication
• Start Edge Servers

Deploying a load balancer is required only if you will deploy multiple Edge Servers in a site, in the Scaled Consolidated Edge topology.
