How to Modify Report Folders in SQL Reporting Services

Applies To: System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R2, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R3

Use the following procedure to modify the properties of a report folder you have created using SQL Reporting Services in Configuration Manager 2007 R2.

The information in this topic applies only to Configuration Manager 2007 R2 and Configuration Manager 2007 R3.

To modify a report folder

  1. In the Configuration Manager console, navigate to System Center Configuration Manager / Site Database / Computer Management / Reporting / Reporting Services / <Report Server Name>, and expand the node.

  2. Expand the Categories node, right-click a report folder, and then click Properties.

  3. On the General tab of the Reporting Services Folder Properties dialog box, specify the following information:

    • Name: Specify a descriptive name for the report folder.

    • Description: Specify a description for the report folder.

  4. On the Security tab of the Reporting Services Folder Properties dialog box, specify a list of users and their permissions to this report folder. For more information about the options in this tab, see Reporting Services Properties: Security Tab.

  5. Click OK to close the Reporting Services Folder Properties dialog box.
