(Blank. The list is empty.)
Specifies a list of sites in which this domain controller registers itself as a global catalog resource. These sites are in addition to those that Net Logon assumes to be closely related to the site based on their physical proximity, network topology, or bandwidth. As such, this list does not include the site in which the domain controller resides.
You can add this entry to the registry to add sites to the list. This list lets you associate sites that might be logically connected, but physically disparate.
The domain controller considers itself to be closely related to the sites in this list. Therefore, it replicates to the site and, when pinged by a client in the site, indicates that it is close by turning on the closest site bit.
Windows 2000 does not add this entry to the registry. You can add it by editing the registry or by using a program that edits it.
This entry is used only when it appears in the registry of a domain controller.
