Description

The Keyboard layout code subkey represents a particular keyboard layout.

The entries in the Keyboard layout code subkey store information about the installed keyboard layout or Input Method Editor (IME).

The Keyboard layout code subkey is a variable representing the subkeys under the HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Keyboard Layouts subkey. It does not actually appear in the registry. This variable subkey displays the subkeys that are common to many of the Keyboard Layouts subkeys.
