Sample Answer Files for Windows 2000 Professional Setup

Every key in an answer file must have a value assigned to it. However, some keys are optional, and some keys have default values that are used if the key is omitted.

Key values are strings of text unless a numeric value is specified. If a numeric value is specified, the value is decimal unless otherwise noted.

Keys are not case sensitive; they can be uppercase or lowercase.

For more information about answer file keys and values, see the Unattend.doc file on the Windows 2000 operating system CD. The Unattend.doc file is part of the Deploy.cab file in the Support\Tools folder. In Microsoft Windows 98 or Windows 2000, use Windows Explorer to extract this document.
